Mineral Class / Geology

Flower Agate is a variety of Chalcedony, a microcrystalline variety of Quartz (silicon dioxide, SiO₂), in the Tectosilicate mineral class. Its hardness is 6.5–7 on the Mohs scale. The flower-like inclusions are three-dimensional Chalcedony plumes that formed within the translucent base material during the stone's growth.

Colors

Flower Agate displays a soft, translucent pink to peach base with white, cream, or deeper pink flower or plume-like inclusions that appear to bloom within the stone. The combination of soft colors and organic floral patterns gives it a uniquely feminine and gentle aesthetic.
